TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION AND COMPONENTS
The product line of new generation ID-document readers with luminescent marking verification function (the "Shtrikh IDL"series) includes the following stationary devices: Shtrikh 01-IDL, Shtrikh 03-IDL and Shtrikh 04-IDL.
Document reader Shtrikh 01-IDL

The stationary ID-document reader "Shtrikh 01-IDL" is a device designed for secure reading of information stored in a chip of identification documents, such as a new generation driving license or an identity card of a citizen of the Russian Federation, as well as for reading luminescent bar codes and verification of luminescent marking of a document in order to establish its authenticity or to identify signs of forgery.
The reader is equipped with LED illuminators emitting light in the UV region of the spectrum and exciting the luminescence of security (latent) elements used to mark documents in order to protect them from counterfeiting. The luminescent image is registered by a built-in video camera and transmitted to a computer.
The reader is equipped with a scanner for barcodes and machine readable zones of documents, contact and contactless readers for reading information from a microcircuit built into a document, and can also be equipped with a specialized security module.
To implement these functions, the reader is connected via the USB channel to a personal computer, laptop or a tablet computer with the appropriate software installed.

The stationary ID-document reader "Shtrikh 03-IDL" is a device designed for the same purposes as the document reader "Shtrikh 01-IDL" and provides the same functions, however, unlike the latter, it is equipped with a built-in computer and a touchscreen monitor with a 5” screen.
Thanks to that, the reader can be used in autonomous mode. In addition, the reader can be connected to a local computer network via an Ethernet channel.
The document reader "Shtrikh 04-IDL" differs from the document reader "Shtrikh 03-IDL" only in the screen size, which is 7”.
